Job Description

• Computes CIT,EDT,CGT, Deferred Tax and Capital allowances.
• Ensures prompt filing of monthly VAT Returns and Annual Tax Returns.
• Ensures prompt remittance of PAYE and Withholding Taxes.
• Prepares and files TP Returns.
• Liaison Tax Consultants.
• Coordinates audit by Federal Inland Revenue Service(FIRS)and State Board of Internal Revenue(SBIRs).
• Respond to FIRS Desk Review and Tax Audit Reports.
• Follow up and collect WHT Credit Notes from Clients.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the DGM Accounts

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting or related discipline.
• Member of a recognized Professional Accountancy Body in Nigeria(e.g. ICAN or ANAN).
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
• Minimum of 8 years experience in Tax Practice.
• Experience in the Construction Industry will be an added advantage.
